Gathering and trade routes

A gathering trip starts with the resource and tier your recipe needs. Before trading, price the purchase, sale and load. Use the world map to connect those decisions to named zones and the ordinary exits between them.

Gathering and trade routes

Find a zone for the resource you need

Filter the map by resource, resource tier and zone danger. The location list shows the zones alongside the map, and choosing a zone reveals its gathering tiers. These ranges describe the zone's resource display; they do not locate individual nodes or promise that a node is currently available.

For tier IV wood, Birchcopse is directly connected to Lymhurst. Its Pine Logs refine into Pine Planks:

The resource actions open that item's market prices or trade calculator. Refine opens the matching output recipe; Compare cities opens its resource-return comparison. Return to map plan restores the location, resource filters and map view.

Choose where to refine and sell

Compare the cities' return rates with and without Focus, then enter the material prices and station fees for your plan. Missing market quotes are not zero-price materials. The refining guide explains the material chain and why materials to bring differ from expected cost after returns.

In the trade calculator, set the buying and selling cities, quantity, prices and usable cargo capacity. Its profit and break-even result describe the entered trade. They do not account for losing the cargo to other players.

Plan the zone crossings

Plan route on map carries supported city selections from the trade calculator. The route lists the ordered zones, their danger types and the number of crossings, with the plotted parts highlighted on the map. Return to calculator keeps the trade's quantity, prices and other entered values.

The result minimizes crossings through the supported ordinary zone exits. It does not estimate travel time or distance, and excludes portals, dungeon shortcuts and other unsupported transit. An unavailable result means this route cannot be formed from those exits, not that travel between the places is impossible.

Albion's in-game navigation follows your character and highlights exits to a destination. This map plan instead connects the gathering or trade decision you made here to a shareable itinerary. Check the zone danger and the game's current conditions before transporting a load.
