Firewing Drake: from egg to mount
A Firewing Drake Egg is not a rideable mount. It grows in a Kennel into a Tame Firewing Drake, which is then used to train the finished mount.
Get the correct egg
The Firewing Drake Egg is a rare Dragonfire reward associated with Dragon encounters. It is not the older Swamp Dragon offspring. Check the item name before comparing prices or preparing a Kennel.
No per-clear egg probability is established by the announcement sources used here. An expected-profit plan that assumes an egg every run would misprice the raid. Use a received egg or an explicit market purchase price instead.
Prepare mount food and nurturing
Firewing Drakes are fed with other mounts. A crop or ordinary livestock feeding plan is not interchangeable with this animal. The Firewing farming calculator uses the egg’s actual growth, feeding and nurturing fields.
Set Premium, the number of eggs and your planned nurturing actions before reading the growth and Focus totals. Nurturing is not a guarantee of a replacement egg. Compare the value of the mounts you feed with the cost of buying a tame or finished Drake.
Price the finished mount separately
Growing and training are separate steps. The Firewing Drake recipe links to the tame animal and the other required materials. Its market price is a different price from an egg or a tame animal.
Use the item’s real recipe and your station fee. A blank market quote does not make that component free. Enter your own price only when you have a defensible value for it.
Know what interrupts the Drake
The Firewing Drake resists forced movement. Its glide can ignore roots and slows, and taking damage does not itself interrupt that glide. Stuns still matter; these properties are not universal immunity to crowd control.
Its breath damages an area over time. Plan the mount around its actual mobility and combat behavior rather than assuming that flight removes the normal risks of the zone.
